In the Begining, there was this odd device commonly known as the iPad, it would neither fit into your pocket nor could rest on your lap. . . but strangely enough it has became very popular.
If you haven't been in hiberination for the last one year or on vacation to explore the Red Planet, then you can't have missed the Tablet form factor frenzy (TAFF) that's going on lately
Ever since Apple inc. struck gold with an immense success of the iPad, The Tablet device market has become, the Next "Gold Rush", The Next frontier to conquer (Not the final I'm sure).
With the variend announcements and product demonstrations at CES and MWC 2011, The battle is just starting to heat up.
The iPad has single-handedly revived and revised the Tablet computing market which had previously failed to click with the masses. This is attributed, partly to the super successful iphone, partly to the success of digital book readers, and mostly to the failure of Windows based tablet PCs.
Every major consumer electronics manufacturer is jumping the bandwagon of TAFF.. . . . so you don't believe me .... eh?.. Let's see, HTC (Flyer), LG (G-Slate), HP (Touchpad), Viewsonic (Viewpad), RIM (Playbook), Motorola (Xoom), Acer (Iconia lineup), Samsung (Galaxy Tab 10.1), Toshiba (Folio), Huvawei (Ideos), Dell (Streak lineup), Asus (EE pad), Lenovo (LePad), NEC (cloud), MSI (Winpad), Panasonic (Viera tablet, Fujitsu (Windows 7 Tablet) and Many others....
