Can you name some good mobile SoC chips?
Snapdraggon ( Qualcomm ),
Hummingbird (Samsung) yes -
If you are thinking apple A4 I'd say Not really because it's only iphone's territory. none the less it is a very POWERFUL SoC
CES 2011 has brought a new giant into the mobile chips market, nVidia with it's Dual core Tegra2 platform has made waves ( and i mean tsunami ) around the globe. and if you see the supposedly leaked nVidia roadmap that is circulating on the internet. . you'll be blown away.

nVidia previously known in the PC world for it's Geforce platform and Quadro solutions, plans to roll out first mobile Quad-core SoCs before the end of 2011, yes you've read this correctly QUAD CORE, capable of superlicious display output as high as 1920x1200, now that's super HD.
Also worth mentioning, is the Tegra2 3D chip, coupled with a proper display screen, it promises the third dimension without glasses.nVidia failed to attract developers in 2009 with its Tegra platform in smartphones, limiting it only to windows mobile, but now using ARM core architechture coupled with its own ultra low powered Geforce custom design SoC..... it shows great promise. . for now let's keep our fingers crossed.
