Saab shows off their Amazing concept android powered in-dash infotainment system aka iQon.
As the demand for on-the-go entertainment, information, connectivity, social networking is rising, so is the auto industry evolving. The Swedish auto giant, Saab recently unveiled their brand new concept of in dash infotainment system dubbed with the slogan “ when a car effortlessly unites with your life”
Maximum points for cool looks and style. I hope it functions as good as it looks.
You can map your directions with the Satellite navigation, find a nice restaurant, and even book a table for two without leaving your vehicle …( that’s odd )
Apart from adjusting the air-conditioning and connecting with your smartphone via Bluetooth, It also functions as your driving companion, your social media hub with facebook, twitter, email manager, internet browser, video player, audio player, shopping guide,etc. but the best thing of all is that It is android, and you know what this means,….. yes, Apps !. You can install apps of your liking from the IQon store and customize it with practical solutions as per your needs.
There’s one question that needs answering, Can it be jailbroken? There must be some guy at the XDA dev team thinking, wait till i get my hands on one. xD
