Xperia Play is the SE's latest bid to tap into android gaming potential. We know that good marketing is necessary in order to make a product stand out in the swarm of android devices. At first it was all logical marketing with the " Playstation certified" sloga but lateley SE has resorted to some really weird commercials.... really really weird
It all started at the blackmarket thumb transplant with the punch line "android is ready to play"
Then came "the donor" who graciously donated his thumbs to android

The above metioned advertisments are strange but do make a point, differentiate the phone, highlight the importance of physical controls, and atleast present a good quality production.
Now, SE have released a pathetic "kirsten series" that looks like a low budget, single camera, shot in the backyard, cheap budget, with no production skills and weird acting,
take a look yourself...
Now we don't expect such sloppy ad campaign from a company like Sony Ericsson, on top of that, for thier flagship device.
What do you think of this ad camapign?
