C for color, The New Sony VAIO "C" Series

Today, Sony announced  the New C series for its VAIO lineup of notebooks.






 With its ultra vibrant colors,it is sure to catch the eye of relatively younger audience and the female customer base ( not to mention the young at heart). Sony brands this series with a label " light emitting transluscent style". A choice of fashion colours include two special orange and green ‘light emitting’ options. This audacious design scatters light along edges of the translucent PC lid and other key surfaces to create a dramatic glow effect.

Other features include:

  • High  contrast, 14" 1366x768 widescreen VAIO Display
  • HD web camera powered by "Exmor" for clearer, sharper video web chat
  • HDMI out (3D supported) for watching videos and games on 3D TV
  • One-touch WEB access button, launching internet access without a full boot-up.
  • An ambient light sensor that optimises screen brightness

  • It comes with the Intel's second generation core processors a.k.a Sandybridge.
