Iphone 5 : What to expect?

Apple Iphone has revolutionized the way we look at Cell phones, It has brought a new "touch" to the hearts and minds of millions. Some people buy iphone because it is "cool" and "hip", others want to be different. whatever your reasons are, the fact is that "you have the bragging rights"

 

No matter how much it is criticized, but it still is an amazing device and has changed the mindset and approach to how we percieve a mobile cellular device. Every smartphone is compared, sooner or later, to the iphone. Every phone's user interface, its display, its apps, its size, dimensions...everything is compared to the phone with an " i ", and that is nothing short of a revolution. But in bringing about this change, let us see how the apple in your hand has changed itself.. i.e "The evolution of iphone"
Now let's see, at the time of writing this article, we have the 4th generation of iphone with us and 5th gen is lurking around the corner.

Naming/Branding:


The first iphone was simply called "iphone" and is now referred to as "iphone 2G" ever since its successor came into existance: the "iphone 3G". 3G refers to data connectivity not the generation. The next device in line was "iphone 3Gs". The little "S" here indicating the speed of a brand new processor. The current 4th generation iphone is officially known as "iphone 4" and commonly known as iphone 4G even though it has no 4G connectivity.

Design:
The overall design has remained the same, throughout the years, with minor tweaking with the dimensions. Even with the iphone 4 the basic design concept hasn't changed much. (not including the internal antenna placement ;-) ).

So there you have it. a logical analysis of what to expect from the next apple iphone. your comments and corrections are highly welcome.
